A dear lady from Canada asked me to make her a Patches Santa...but, she wanted me to create a Mrs. for him. So, I did...and voila...Mrs. Claus Pattern #123. Which goes nicely with Patches #121. I fell in love with her as soon as she was seated next to him...and I think HE DID TOO!!
Well, I finally finished 2 more Simply Courtneys in holiday prints...I have been trying to find cute little items for them to hold...and digging thru last seasons left overs of little things. I had completely forgotten about the "BELIEVE" metal sign the one now holds...but I did just purchase the penguin for the other when I bought the fabric. OH...and the prim tags...geez...I forgot all about having those from last year. I think I may have just given up putting them on the dolls last year.
I haven't posted in awhile because I have been working on some custom orders for a few special ladies. And in between waiting for fabric to come in from Etsy....I put these holiday cuties on Ebay just yesterday. I am beginning to do 5 day listings rather than 7 day listings. A super special, sweet customer of mine just couldn't wait for the elf auctions to end...said it seemed like forever....so, it has prompted me to change the listing times. I don't want to keep anyone waiting. LOL! Anyway...here are 2 holiday Simply Courtney's that I have listed on there.

I am mother to 2 young adults. My daughter is 28 and gave me my 1st grandchild on July 2, 2008...Brody. She is currently pregnant with another grandson. My son is 24 and gave me my 2nd grandchild, named Austin who was born April 14th 2009. I am married to "Prince Charming" (LOL) and have been for almost half my life. I enjoy making dolls...I like to call them "country Prim" because they are more cutesy than primitive...yet stained like prims. I have been sewing and creating for the past 17 years and have come a long way since the days of my first floppy eared bunny. I have had a scarecrow featured as one of many on the cover of Country Marketplace Magazine...which is no longer in existance. I have been in Better Homes and Gardens Crafters Showplace Magazine and once had a sales rep who took many of my items to gift shows and sold to craft shops across the United States. I am now trying to figure out the vast world of internet exposure. And this is yet another adventure for me. I can now be found on Etsy and eBay...
